The Château’s Park
At the Grand Condé’s request, Le Notre, well known landscape designer of his time, designed alleys, the basins and the canals One can sail on the canals crossing the Chateau’s park from side the side, itself surrounded by an immense moat. The woods are interspersed with statues decorating the forest’s clearings. Stroll towards the charming "Hamlet" or in the English and Chinese Gardens. A little train will take you to admire the hundred year old trees whilst warning with its little bell the forest's inhabitants; stags, does, roes and birds hidden in the bushes. For more information |
